Digital Marketing Manager

Wodonga, Victoria

Full Time, Ongoing

Inspire People | Execute Strategy | Deliver Results

We're searching for an exceptional leader to take the reins of our established marketing team and turn strategic direction into measurable results.

This isn't a traditional Marketing Manager role – while marketing knowledge and experience are important, we're looking for someone who can bring out the very best in people, drive accountability and confidently translate business strategy into action.

You'll be equally comfortable working alongside our Executive Leadership Team and rolling up your sleeves to support your people on the ground. You'll understand the bigger picture, embrace our company mission and values, and ensure the team's day-to-day activities consistently support our broader business objectives.

If you're a natural leader who combines commercial thinking, attention to detail and a genuine passion for developing people, we'd love to hear from you.

About Us

We're a proudly regional based business that has experienced significant growth while staying true to our values of exceptional customer service, innovation and teamwork.

With a strong presence across multiple states and ambitious plans for the future, we're investing in great people who want to help shape what's next.

About the Role

As Digital Marketing Manager, you'll lead and develop a talented team while taking ownership of the delivery, quality and performance of our marketing activities.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring strategic priorities are translated into clear objectives, practical actions and measurable outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach and develop a motivated, high-performing marketing team

  • Understand and champion the company's mission, values and strategic direction

  • Translate the Executive team's vision into practical plans and ensure their successful delivery

  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership, working closely with your team to maintain momentum and overcome challenges

  • Drive accountability, consistency and high-quality execution across all marketing activities

  • Oversee marketing projects, campaigns and priorities, ensuring deadlines and performance expectations are consistently met

  • Apply your understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, paid search, email marketing and social media promotions, to guide the team's activities and assess outcomes

  • Work collaboratively with our external marketing consultant on a fortnightly basis to review online performance, identify opportunities and support ongoing optimisation

  • Monitor results, identify areas for improvement and ensure marketing activities align with broader commercial objectives

  • Foster a positive, collaborative and results-focused team culture where creativity, initiative and accountability thrive.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to an established business while helping to shape its future growth.

About You

You're a confident, approachable and results-driven leader who understands that successful teams need clear direction, consistent standards and practical support.

You don't need to be an expert in every marketing discipline, but you do need sufficient knowledge to guide your team, ask the right questions and ensure activities deliver meaningful outcomes.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational involvement

  • An understanding of marketing principles and familiarity with SEO, paid search, email marketing and social media promotions

  • The ability to understand and execute an Executive Leadership Team's strategy while remaining actively engaged in day-to-day operations

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to consistently high standards of work and performance

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and demanding deadlines

  • Commercial awareness and a focus on accountability, performance and measurable results

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at all levels of the business

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to take ownership of challenges and outcomes.

Above all, we're looking for someone who leads by example, takes pride in the quality of their work and knows how to bring people together to achieve great results.

What We Offer

  • OTE of $145,000 plus superannuation (comprising a 60% base salary and 40% performance-based bonus)

  • Introductory bonus support

  • A senior leadership position with genuine influence and responsibility

  • The opportunity to shape the direction and performance of an established marketing team

  • Direct engagement with a collaborative and supportive Executive Leadership Team

  • Access to an external marketing consultant for ongoing digital performance guidance and support

  • A fuel card to support required travel between office locations during the initial transition period

  • Long-term career opportunities within a growing business.

Location & Working Arrangements

We believe strong leadership is built on connection, collaboration and being present with your team.

For this reason, this is a full-time, office-based leadership position requiring attendance five days per week, enabling you to work closely with your people, provide day-to-day support and maintain consistent communication across the business.

Our planned permanent office location for this position will be Wodonga. As we consolidate our Victorian satellite offices, the role will initially involve travel of approximately 45 minutes to the relevant office location during the first 12 months. A company fuel card will be provided to support this arrangement.
