About Alpine Cider:
The Nightingale Family has been growing crisp, juicy apples in the Wandiligong Valley and Alpine surrounds for over 60 years. With five orchards expanding across Wandiligong, Buckland Valley, Stanley and Batlow, Nightingales grow apples, chestnuts and hazelnuts in the cool, elevated conditions of the alpine region.
With 40 employees, plus seasonal workers during picking seasons, Nightingales manage their five orchards as well as a bustling retail shop, selling all their produce as well as their juices and ciders, home-made jams and pies and local giftware.
In 2016, Nightingales released Alpine Cider, turning their Pink Lady apples into Pink Lady Cider and sparkling Apple Juice. Alpine Cider are now proud award winners with their range of cider and non-alcoholic sparking juices.
About the Position:
As Alpine Cider’s Sales Representative, you will work as part of a small, highly motivated team to promote and support Alpine Cider’s range of products in bars, restaurants and venues across the region. You will also be responsible for developing a sales strategy, supporting the current customer base and be accountable to deliver sales activity targets and ensure continued growth.
Identify new leads and establish new business relationships.
Manage sales, volume growth, and cost control to achieve budgeted profits.
Service licensed venues, bars, restaurants and venue groups.
Grow customer base by identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.
Increase distribution and use of our products.
Implement exciting marketing programs.
Attendance at trade shows and events.
Some evening and weekend work may be required from time to time as will occasional travel out of state.
This position will be a hybrid role, working from the Wandiligong office, with availably to work from home whilst also travelling for work. A fully serviced and branded vehicle will be provided for business use.
About You:
You will be a committed and enthusiastic individual with strong experience in FMCG and/or Food and Beverage industry, and excellent communication and relationship building skills. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can work both independently and in a team environment and have the ability to achieve targets and have sound attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful relationships with various stakeholders.
Self-motivation, personal accountability, and a strong desire to achieve results.
Proven influencing and negotiation skills.
Demonstrate a great passion and appreciation for the food and beverage industry.
Proven history of achieving budgeted sales targets.
The ability to work autonomously and travel is essential.
Salary:
An attractive remuneration package, including commission, mobile, laptop and vehicle, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
