MGR Solicitors are a general legal practice, acting in various transactions including:

  • Business Services

  • Estate Planning Services

  • Estate Administration and Probate Services

  • Conveyancing and Property Services

An exciting opportunity exists to join the MGR Team, as the face of the firm, their Receptionist.

The most important responsibilities of this role will be greeting clients and answering the telephone in a warm and professional manner.  You will be dealing with all forms of communication as part of the role.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Reception duties

  • Outside office duties, including mail, deliveries, filing and banking

  • Providing administrative support to other staff

  • Providing administrative and personal assistant support to the Office Manager and Principal

  • General administrative tasks such as typing documents (including dictation), filing, photocopying, scanning

  • Diary management

  • Data entry

  • Liaising with clients, walk-ins and other firms / businesses

  • Ordering stationery supplies and attending to general office organisation needs

  • Other administrative tasks as required

Essential skills and attributes:

  • Previous reception and/or administration experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Able to prioritise and multitask

  • Accurate typing 

  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Be professional, reliable and honest, with a strong work ethic

  • Previous legal experience would be an advantage
