Challenger Valves has been supplying high-quality industrial valves, actuators and flow control solutions to customers across Australia for decades. With branches nationwide and a reputation built on quality products and outstanding customer service, we're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Internal Sales professional to join our Western Australian branch.
This is a varied role that combines customer service, technical internal sales and hands-on warehouse support. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers while also working alongside our Warehouse Team to ensure products are prepared and dispatched efficiently.
Although you'll be based in our Cockburn branch, you'll work closely with and be supported by our management team located in Shepparton, Victoria.
What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing outstanding customer service via phone and email
Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
Supporting the external sales team with product information and technical enquiries
Assisting with inventory management and stock control
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
Supporting the Warehouse Team with general warehouse activities to ensure the branch operates efficiently
Receiving and inspecting incoming goods
Delivering products to local customers and collecting supplier orders when required
Working collaboratively with both the WA branch and management team to deliver exceptional service.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys both customer interaction and practical, hands-on work.
Ideally you'll have:
Previous experience in internal sales, customer service or a technical sales environment
Strong computer skills and confidence learning ERP systems
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, team-first attitude
The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
Mechanical aptitude or experience within industrial, manufacturing or engineering environments will be highly regarded
A current Australian Driver's Licence
A current Forklift Licence
